In short: your pets live on your computer. The only things that leave it are your pet's cut-out (to make clips) and what Stripe needs to take payment. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.
On your computer
- Your pets, photos, clips and settings are stored on your computer only.
- Photos are cut out on your computer. The original photo, with its background, is never uploaded.
- The PetPeek app has no analytics or tracking.
When you make a clip
- We send your pet's cut-out on a plain background, plus the move's description, to our clip service. For dreamed-up looks, we send your written description of the pet.
- Our clip service runs on Cloudflare and passes the request to fal.ai, whose AI models make the clip. The finished clip is downloaded to your computer.
- To check your allowance, the clip service receives your licence key and keeps a count of the clips made with it, along with a reference to each job. It doesn't keep your photos or clips.
When you buy
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Stripe shares your email address and purchase details with us. We use them to issue your licence key, answer support requests and handle refunds.
- Your email address is included in your licence key, which is stored on your computer.
This website
- The website is hosted by Cloudflare and loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web host, they see your IP address when you visit.
- The website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising.
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. Email is hosted by Zoho.
We never
- sell your data or share it for advertising,
- use your photos or clips to train AI models, or
- ask you to create an account.
Your choices
- Removing a pet in PetPeek deletes its photos and clips from your computer.
- To have us delete your purchase details or allowance records, or to ask what we hold about you, email us. Some purchase records must be kept for tax and accounting.
